Bachelor degree

The Bachelor of Economics degree offers students rigorous training in economic analysis with applications to a wide variety of topical issues. It is an intellectually challenging degree that offers insight into the ways that individuals make decisions and interact, the ways that businesses are structured and compete, and the role of government in economic activity.

Are combined degrees harder?

Combined degrees are not any more difficult than single degrees. A student enrolled in a combined degree still does 4 subjects per semester like everyone else, it is just that a combined degree usually takes one year longer to complete.

Assumed knowledge or prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for the Bachelor of Economics, but there is an assumed level of mathematical knowledge.

ACT - Mathematical Methods (Tertiary Major)
NSW – 2 unit Mathematics (including the study of calculus and algebra)
