Biography

Emma Aisbett is a Lecturer at the Crawford School of Economics and Government and a Research Fellow at the Research School of Economics. Prior to coming to the ANU she obtained her PhD in Applied Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Emma also has a MSc. Environmental Change and Management from Oxford University, U.K. and B.Eng. (Medal) in Chemical Engineering from UNSW. her research interests lie at the intersection of economic globalization (particularly foreign direct investment), development and environmental economics; and she increasingly finds political economy and behavioural economics important additions to the neoclassical approach to her research questions.
