Biography

Yuji received his PhD degree in economics from the University of Warwick in 2007. He taught economics at the University of Warwick and Trinity College Dublin. He is interested in investigating applied microeconomic topics both theoretically and empirically. His research has focused on economic analysis of international labor mobility, examining in particular the political economy of immigration in the welfare state and endogenous human trafficking in the migrant smuggling market. He is currently analyzing a game-theoretic model of asylum policy making in developed states.
