The Research School of Economics is one of Australia's premier research institutions. With around 90 economists on staff, our school provides an outstanding environment for economic research. We have active seminar and working paper series.

Our research centres provide a focal point for intellectual leadership across both theoretical and applied economics.

RSE Centers

  • CAMA - Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis
  • CEH - The Centre for Economic History
  • CEPR - Centre for Economics Policy Research
  • RUMiCI - The Rural-Urban Migration in China and Indonesia Project
  • SPEAR - The Social Policy Evaluation, Analysis, and Research Centre

RSE Grants

The RSE currently has several projects funded through the Australian Research Council’s (ARC) Discovery and Linkage grants. These grants support a wide range of economic research on theoretical and policy-oriented topics.
