Conference students

The 26th Australasian Teaching Economics Conference (ATEC2022) will be hosted by the Australian National University, Canberra July 14-15th 2022. The conference will be held virtually with all presentations delivered via the Zoom platform.

The theme for this year’s conference is Engaging a Diverse Student Body – where the diversity may come from cultural background; student preparation and understanding; gender; UG versus PG etc.

There are no submission or registration fees for the conference.

For any enquiries, please contact the organising committee.

Abstracts can be submitted by COB Friday 10 June 2022. Late abstract submissions may be considered, but there is no guarantee for inclusion into the conference.

Abstracts should be 150-300 words and in word or PDF format. Please be sure to include the title and submitting authors in the file name. Full names of authors and their institutional affiliations should be included in the abstract along with contact author’s email. Authors are welcome to submit a full paper if there is one.

The tradition of ATEC is that authors after the conference can share their presentation slides if they do not yet have a paper completed.

Authors will be notified whether their proposed presentations have been accepted to the conference by Wednesday 15th June with registrations for the conference closing on June 17th. (Note all accepted authors will still need to register for the conference to be included in the programme).

Registrations are due by 5pm Monday, July 11th
