Call for Papers

40th Australasian Economic Theory Workshop

Australian National University will host the 40th(!!) Australasian Economic Theory Workshop on 8-9 February 2023 in Canberra.

We invite colleagues in all fields of economic theory to submit papers for presentation at the workshop. If you are interested, please send your extended abstract or full paper (in .pdf format) to AETW2023@anu.edu.au. The deadline for submissions is December 2nd, 2022.

There are no financial transactions associated with this workshop. That is, there is no conference fee, but also no financial support for travel expenses.

We are pleased to announce that Kota Saito (Caltech) will giving a plenary talk during the Workshop.


Event code of conduct: Our workshops are dedicated to providing a scholarly and harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof). We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. Sexual language  and imagery, which is not directly related to research projects under discussion, is not appropriate for any conference venue including talks, workshops, lunches, and dinners.

Because we view workshop dinners and workshop lunches as extensions of the scholarly activities of the event, these will be alcohol free.
