40th Australasian Economic Theory Workshop

Australian National University will host the 40th(!!) Australasian Economic Theory Workshop on 8-9 February 2023 in Canberra.
There are no financial transactions associated with this workshop. That is, there is no conference fee, but also no financial support for travel expenses.

We are very pleased to confirm two excellent plenary speakers for the workshop: Kota Saito (Caltech) and Marie-Louise Vierø (Aarhus).
Registrations
The 40th Australasian Economic Theory Workshop will take place in Lecture Theatre 1 & Lecture Theatre 2 in HW Arndt Building #25A, 25A Kingsley Street, Canberra ACT 2600.
We have secured a couple of options specifically for the Workshop attendees. Please use the following instructions to make your booking. The special rates and the number of rooms held are limited and available on a first-come-first-served basis.

To proceed with a reservation a valid credit card is required to guarantee the bookings, with payment due on arrival at the hotel. Cancellation on the accommodation rooms is allowed up until 24 hours prior to arrival, 2 pm the day before check in.
All bookings will need to be confirmed 14 days prior to arrival. After this time any new requests will be subject to availability and rates of the day.

Because we view workshop dinners and workshop lunches as extensions of the scholarly activities of the event, these will be alcohol free.
