Biography

Dana Hanna is a Lecturer in Economics. Her current research interests build on her PhD work, where she explored how the family constellation, or size, birth order, and sibling age gap, interact with child cognitive development, specifically in the pre-schooling years. As well as investigating child cognitive development, and family economics more broadly, Dana’s research explores the wage impacts of parental leave and the impacts of domestic violence. She is also engaged in research into gender literacy in education and experimental design.
